The Start-Up Lab is a docu-drama television series focused on entrepreneurs, emerging companies, and venture capital investors. The Start-Up Lab has been described as "American Idol" for start-up companies seeking venture capital.
The television series consists of series of episodes featuring a panel of experts (a corporate attorney, venture capital and angel investors and a media and public relations personality).
The Start-Up Lab's television series is an incubator that will provide a platform for carefully selected entrepreneurs and emerging companies to compete for venture investments and professional services that will position the participants for growth.

PHASE I
Venture Concept Submission
Potential start-up company participants submit an outline of their venture concept to be evaluated by the Panel of Experts. The Panel will select the initial group of potential Participants to attend a VIP Event at an upscale location in Miami Beach. The Panel will observe the Participants and reactions to their concept and marketing skills to select the final group of Participants to be featured on The Start-Up Lab.
PHASE II
Evaluation and Elimination
Participants and their concepts will continue to be evaluated by the Panel of Experts, seasoned entrepreneurs, and potential investors. Participants will be challenged to respond to questions raised throughout the evaluation process. Participants that are not able to respond effectively will be eliminated.
PHASE III
The Pitch
The Panel will select a final group of Participants. The objective of The Start-up Lab is to position the Participants to attract funding from angel investors and venture capital firms. The Series will conclude with a series of invitation-only networking events with nationwide funding sources and industry-leading entrepreneurs.
